About Beth McGinley
Licensed Professional Counselor & Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Therapist
Owner & Founder Beth McGinley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified clinical trauma professional. Beth specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and symptoms related, working with all ages, ranging from 4 years old through seniors, and treating many mental health challenges. Beth also focuses on outpatient addiction recovery, outpatient mental health, school-based counseling. She has been in private practice for the last six years based in Central New Jersey. Beth's experience has provided her with extensive knowledge in various levels of care and treatment areas in the field.

Beth has worked in a variety of mental health settings, including in-patient long-term care rehabilitation facilities for substance use disorders and as a diversion to prison through a collaboration with the State of New Jersey.
Education and Experience
Beth holds two Master's degrees, one in education from Rutgers University and one in mental health counseling from Seton Hall University and a Post-Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall. Beth also has certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and has been trained as an REBT clinician.
Beth has worked at New Jersey's largest drug rehabilitation organization with in-patient men and IOP women as part of a diversion program for prison and reunification of families affected by addiction. She has run groups on self-esteem, parenting, relapse prevention, and anger management. She has also worked with inner-city youth and families doing mental health counseling and assessments, improving the family structure and the effects of poverty and trauma

Working in private practice, Beth is servicing clients and families with a variety of concerns to great success and personal satisfaction for clients. She is passionate about helping others achieve new and improved life goals.
Compassionate and Personalized Therapy
Beth connects with her clients at a deep and meaningful level and can recognize unhealthy patterns of behavior that, once addressed, can improve their quality worldview. In addition, she works with clients of all racial and ethnic backgrounds to help them improve functioning within the context of their culture and religious orientation.
